Ford is available for one to one teaching on tin whistle, low whistle and acoustic guitar. He teaches from his home in Sheffield as well as online. Drawing on his years of professional experience, Ford uses folk methods such as ear learning and ensemble playing to draw out his students’ creativity and musicality.

WORKSHOPS
Ford has wide experience in leading music workshops, particularly through his work with the Halsway Manor National Centre for the Folk Arts, ranging from songwriting and folklore to big-band arrangements. He has also led workshops at festivals including Broadstairs Folk Week and Priddy Folk Festival, developing advanced techniques with whistle players of varying abilities and ages.
